- Neuroprotective: The methanolic extract of M. recutita demonstrated significant neuroprotective activity.
- The methanolic extract of M. recutita demonstrated neuroprotective activity against aluminium fluoride-induced oxidative stress.
- Stimulant: The essential oil of M. recutita at doses of 50 and 100 mg/kg resulted in significant increase in the numbers of spontaneous locomotor activities.
- The essential oil exhibited anxiogenic activity.
